Happy Independence Day from Canada!

I am sitting at the guest computer at a Best Western in lovely Chemainus, British Columbia planning on spending the day playing with the kids and enjoying the quiet, calm-inducing fresh air of our friendly neighbors to the north. It is beautiful, the people are incredibly friendly and the pace is SLOW... It was a rough start to the trip, but after a couple of days, I think we are all actually sleeping well and achieving an admirable state of relaxation. More to come... Enjoy the fireworks and hotdogs - I don't think we'll miss them at all.
